Your Baby Can Speak! Spanish (An introduction to Spanish for English speakers)
$24.95It is better not to use these DVDs with babies unless the babies are already reading, but the audio parts of this are appropriate for babies. The Your Baby Can Read program in Spanish is a better option for babies learning Spanish whether Spanish is the first or second language. In YBCR the words are taught one at a time, then used in sentences. Toddlers and preschoolers may really enjoy this program. The Your Baby Can Speak Includes two programs designed to help introduce infants and children to language skills in a fun way! The Lyric Language program includes 21 bilingual music videos in Spanish and English with lyrics shown on the screen and a 70-minute audio CD that includes a 47 page book that you can print from your computer containing the lyrics for each song plus activities to practice. The Hear Say program includes a 70-minute animated DVD and is focused on 200 vocabulary words. BONUS: 104 word and picture cards, and parent instructions. Dr. Titzer recommends using the audio parts of the program while you are playing with your baby. Use the DVDs once your baby is reading at least 50 words or use after your baby is age two or older. It is better to wait to use these DVDs once your baby or toddler can read in English since the words are on the screen in sentences. It is great to allow your baby to hear other languages very early in life so the CDs are appropriate for very young babies as well as older children. You can play the CDs when you are in the car or while you are playing with your child.
