For babies learning English and Vietnamese, you could alternate between watching in English and Vietnamese. Some parents may want to introduce their babies to Vietnamese. It is a tonal language where pitch is very important. Additionally, it is a nearly perfect phonetic language since the Latin characters were added to an existing spoken languages. It should be easier to figure out phonics in Vietnamese because of the phonetic consistency of the written language.
