- amazing! Review by kinderteacher
- So shocked at the results of this program! Have a student and this is the only thing her family did... she can read EVERYTHING. She hasn't just memorized words, the skills have transferred and she is truly reading. All that was left for me to do was fill in some phonics/PA knowledge (breaking words apart by pieces) to get her going on writing. Her 2 1/2 year old sister is also reading!! (Posted on 11/2/13)
- GRAND DAUGHTER READING BEFORE AGE ONE Review by AugustSun1217@aol.com
My grand daughter is currently is age 3 years old. She has attended a School for Gifted Children since age 2 years old. She has been reading, and has advanced language skills since age 2 years old. She can read and pronounce complex words, under stand the parts of speech, such as verbs, nouns etc.
She was recognizing words before she started walking, and following the commands on the DVDs. She knew the words on the MBCR Flash Cards before she could walk independently.
My daughter started the program when she was five months old. It was clear that she was understanding the words, prompts, such as "Hands Up", then she would do it when there were only words on the Video, which implied she was able to read, but not say the words, at about age 6-7 months. She would identify the flash card words if they were in a group or pile on the table. Finally, she could say what the word was on the back of the same flash card, which meant she retained the information via memory.
Currently she is in pre-K, because her teachers and mother want her to develop her social and emotional skills with her peer group, but she is taken out of the class and spends part of her day with 1st snf 2nd grade students in the Gifted Elementary School. She was tested and her reading, math and language skills age on a 3rd grade level.
This product does work, and it's efficiency and quality is excellent!. It works, it works if the mother or care taker takes the time to enjoy it with the child, and follow the instructions that are offered. There is always an options to try something creative. Nothings works if there is no effort, and it is unfair to blame it on the product. If there are anymore questions about it, and more comments are needed, feel free to write to me. I want other children to enjoy, learn and develop their potential. AugustSun1217@aol.com. (Posted on 9/21/13)
